The bold colors include, teal, aqua blue, navy blue, lime green, burnt orange, wine red, turquoise, bloody red, violet, electric blue, and burgundy. Actually, there are so many bold colors to try for your living room. However, we recommend the homeowners to trey the combination of red and turquoise living room.
Red color for living room
People are afraid when adding red color in the living room. They try to avoid the color since they do not want to give any irritating effect. Too much white can be overpowering in the small living room. Use your creativity when having red color in the living room. For instance, red may serve as the accent wall color. Thus, the other walls feature the subdued color like white, light grey, peach or beige. Therefore, the red tone will never look overwhelm. If you want to keep the wall in simple state, that is fine. The red tone can be applied on the accessories such as curtain, rug or toss pillows. The white L shaped sectional sofa will gain more attention in the living room if it is adorned with printed red floral toss pillows. Spread the elegant red fur rug under the glass coffee table.
Turquoise color for living room
Turquoise color is less overpowering than the living room. You can use the color to build the modern nautical interior design. If you decide to have red as the color for the accent wall, the turquoise color can be applied as the color of the sofa set and chair. Alternatively, you can use the turquoise tone to adorn the architectural features of the living room like fireplace mantle and surround, trim line and crown molding.
